Aiden James - I Wanna Dance With Somebody
(the best Whitney tribute you’ll ever hear, give a listen you won’t regret it)
I’ve known Aiden for years now- a darling local boy who frequented the gayborhood coffee shop I worked at. We became friends and I photographed him for album covers and press on and off through these years. Even when I was more involved in the projects I was blinded to the fact that he has become a huge deal, not just in Philly. I couldn’t be more proud, more than anyone he deserves the recognition. This fabulous man has worked his ass off literally living and breathing music and performance since the day we met. His music is as genuine as he is personally.
Out of left field he is putting together an album I believe is called Girl Songs (I just read about htis in the aper), it will be cover like this… and I really just can’t wait. Isn’t it wonderful when you actually enjoy the music your friends make? Haha… HAPPY BIRTHDAY AIDEN JAMES!
Check out his show at The Tin Angel tomorrow night.

My friend Dani is a super talented, crazy hot performance and installation artist, finishing up her thesis at UC Davis.
Sending my support from across the country, babydoll! Best of luck to my favorite art star, miss you xxxooo
This is my incredible friend Ryan who recently added a stylish pink dye job to his already fabulous look. He has been doing daily (I think) self portraits, ch-ch-check him out on his tumblr, debrisdisaster.
On another note, I don’t see him nearly enough (aka never), so Ryan if you spot this post, lets make beautiful photos together and have some good ol’ times like they were straight out of the Capo daily journal.
FUN. We Are Young ft. Janelle Monáe (acoustic)
Kinda wish I was 17 again, right now. It would be much more thrilling to sing out loud in the center of a group of drunken friends as a Borbas Backyard Bonfire was winding down… never forget.
Debora Dias Freudian’s Vaginal Phase: The Garden. Oil on Canvas, 5’ 7” x 6
reminder to myself to go see my friend Debora’s work, surely amongst some other alums, not nearly as amazing as the prodigal sun child my dearest Deb herself. If you have $$$ in the bank, take it out and support our arts, dahlings.
